Fat quarters are traditionally used by quilters due to their size (18" x 22") allowing them to easily manage the fabrics to make a quilts of all sizes.

Fat Quarter bundles are usually made up of 6 pieces of 18" x 22" fabric. Bundles are often designed so that each single fat quarter complements each other with in the bundle; colour ways and designs will match each throughout the fat quarter enabling the user to build up a project filled with different colours and patterns that flow and match one another. They are a great way for a beginner to build up a fabric library very quickly.
