Sewing a Christmas Advent Calendar Cone

This is a project from my book, Sew Advent Calendars, using the brand new Butterick sewing machine and fabric from The Craft Cotton Company. The cone could be used upside down by adding a ribbon handle, as a Christmas tree decoration or posy cone! I haven't given specific fabric sizes as the cone can be made in any size you like, as you'll see from my calendar, I've made 12 in differing sizes.
